Stillmatic vs The Blueprint

Both classics ….idk … Bravehart party was the worse song on either project so I think that gives the edge to the Blueprint

The interesting this is outside of the source the reviews for stillmatic at the actual time were mostly mediocre while Blueprint was universally acclaimed

Hip Hop Publications gave Stillmatic its props, CaCs were on the fence.
Couldnt be denied it was a classic

As a Nas stan... Blueprint. Lyrically and conceptually on just bars and lyrical structure it's Nas by a margin. But there some inconsistencies in production and some of the tracks on 2nd half I could skip. Blueprint production just close to flawless... One of the best rap records ever produced. shyt TUFF to beat if you lackin on some joints there and Still was... Same reason I wouldn't take God's Son over Blueprint even though it's ahead lyrically and conceptually too.

But I'm still takin Illmatic, IWW, Lost Tapes, KD2, Magic and KD3 over Blueprint.

Stillmatic is Nas 2nd best album to me still…Blueprint is better to me production wise/musically but bar wise it’s not even close, Stillmatic all day. Both are excellent albums to me, ain’t no wrong answer…I prefer Stillmatic but I understand if someone says Blueprint

Nas stans souls still burning slow after all these years, thats why. Things like the QM controversy makes one wonder if Nas even wrote these subpar Stillmatic bars
