It's so disgusting that all we had was that one-time $1,200 check.

78% of Americans were living paycheck to paycheck before Covid. I just read a couple of days ago (I'll try to find the source, but it was legit) that 60% of all business closures are permanent.

Every other 1st world country is able to (or at least try to) look out for their citizens during this time, and yet our government is to busy giving trillions of dollars to their rich friends that on Wall Street, airline companies, casinos, etc.

Medicare For All is supported by 87% of Democrats, and 69% of ALL voters, and Biden and Harris won't even put in an effort to try and make it happen during these trying times. No experimenting with Universal Basic Income (if only until the pandemic is over). Nothing.

It's unreal to me how little a fukk our government gives about us right now. The emperor has no clothes, and this pandemic has really exposed it.

i think there is a large swath of people who dont really understand how bad it is out here

you got some people who never stopped working and are doing mostly ok but may be uneasy

you have some people who have been out of work and cooped up and somewhat insulated from the goings on

i returned and let me tell you..businesses are big time fukked. every business i know in my industry is operating at like 40-50% pre covid revenue. we may have to shut down because the owner would lose less money simply paying property tax than operating

the lead instructor broke his contract and took a job elsewhere so i have to pick up the scraps somehow..i lost all my benefits including insurance starting 11/30 and have like 300 left of unemployment to claim if we go under

Yea I called it..them bytches sent me my regular pay then tha $300 and closed my case...if thats all I had to rely on I would be kinda messed up because I'm not getting that rest of my money since my case is closed..when they say God has a sense of humor they ain't lying...I been tryna get in the cannabis industry since I moved to LA and on my last two weeks of unemployment I get a ig direct message asking if I want to start working..I aint takin this lightly I hope everybody in a bind make it thru ..fucc the govement
