breh. The house passed a deal before summer and the republicans blew it off. The damage has already been done.
months worth of unpaid rent and bills. Businesses closed. Billions lost. All while saying fukk social distancing and fukk masks so infections spiked and more people dead.
Passing a puny ass bill now won’t do nothing. 1200 is nothing when you owe 6000 in back rent. Those people can’t get their time back. Time that republicans let pass while they struggled.
The new Stimulus should be final and long term. The economy needs open heart surgery and you’re complaining about aspirin and a bandaid.
Republicans decided a long time ago to stall out until November and it worked.
