stop letting pelosi sit on your face. the number is 1.8 trillion, because that's what has a chance of passing. deal with it, and pass more if the dems win next year. you have a childish lack of understanding of the nonexistent leverage pelosi has. SHE IS IN NO POSITION TO DEMAND ANYTHING

this interview with wolf blitzer is a fukking disgrace, to watch this clown sit here in her fukkin 5 thousand dollar suit deflecting about americans who need this money. embarrassing
You are all over the place. :mjlol:

She's not. She's taken up and passed legislation that will greatly benefit the American people.

The only reason Americans don't have money is because McConnell refuses to take up the bill.

You only need a handful of Republicans to pass legislation in the senate. Let's stop playing into their bullshyt narrative that the votes aren't there because every republican doesn't support it. Also, Negged.
:yeshrug:
I feel like in this part of the forum we should agree to disagree intelligently and leave the spiteful TLR insults and negs behind, whatever but anyways, you're dealing with a chicken and egg thing with who's fault it is and it really depends on where you sit on the fence with this one

if you believe in all the extra fat in Pelosi's deal then you're gonna feel like its McConnell(which that bytch ass snake does have a massive hand in this, not wanting a stimulus bill) and if you don't you can see how Pelosi is well aware the repubs don't want a deal AT ALL but can be swayed by general public pressure, wanting to keep their jobs in certain states and working out a deal to cut some of the fat out of that bill so they dont look soft to their voter base but Pelosi knows that and is keeping the fat to make the republicans/president look bad and also secure the bag for all that non-covid bs which is politics over people

You seemingly don't understand how the government works. It's quite sad. :picard:
keep ducking the question

here's another one to duck: when it's 2 weeks from now and pelosi has not gotten her bill passed, got in fact absolutely nothing for her voters until March, and i say "she should have just taken mcconnell's deal, what did we have to lose. nobody is getting shyt all winter now"

what will your answer be?

This should be fun.

I've already told you I don't think it's beneficial for democrats to pass a bad bill.

House dems agree.

So there's no bill until senate Republicans accept the demands that will greatly benefit the people.

that's bullshyt, they would sign on on accepting this bill in 2 seconds if marie antoinette signed off on it

again, ill ask the question; when it's 2 weeks from now, and a certainty that no money will be going out to anyone until March, what would pelosi have lost by just accepting the 1.8? a blow to her ego? :hhh:

i'm asking you simple, direct questions and you refuse to answer them :yeshrug:

i'll try again: when it's two weeks from now, and no money is going out anyway, what would pelosi have lost by taking the 1.8 trillion? what is your answer to that question?

I'm a believer that you can't over do it, whatever is necessary while some of it clearly is extra(bailout money for certain cities/states, money for arts and humanities shyt, planned parenthood, a vaccine advertising campaign, etc, shyt the american people will never see) if it got pass I wouldn't be opposed to it, the issue is Pelosi wont work at all unless all that bs is included and Mitch hoe ass doesn't want a bill at all anyways and she thinks she's playing hardball with him

technically all of it is fat, since 0 of it is paid for. hence the fact that pelosi has zero leverage on anyone, which you fail to grasp for some reason

imagine pretending that a bill that pelosi cut from 3.4 trillion to 2.2 trillion in 48 hours didnt have any fat in it :laff: talk about bad faith arguments

here's a counter question; why do you think the 1.8 is "bad"? because pelosi told you to think that? the list for the 1.8 had money for cities and states, money for people, money for testing, money for hospitals. in your own words, why was it so "bad" that she couldnt bear to accept it?

So you think funding that is going to supplement schools andmedical expenses is fat.

The arts and humanities sector employ a lot of workers who have been affected by the pandemic and people will want these things back when they return to normalcy.

I have to be honest, you pretty much dodged the question after repeatedly calling them fat as though they aren't measures being put in place as a direct response to Covid.
