In the thread to take the stance that Pelosi should have taken the 1.6T. You are obviously sympathizing with airlines right now, explaining how their "dire" situation creates a need for them to receive more stimulus.

In this thread, you explicitly stated that nancy Pelosi is out here using this stimulus deal to get money to poorly managed states, blue states. Bringing up the MTA how they are poorly run and financially managed. I just find it ironic you mention that when it comes to state funding but not a peep out of you regarding this





So now you out here saying pelosi shouldn't be fighting for state funding because they suck at managing their financing.



So the question is why you sympathizing for airlines and ignore their financial mismanagement for the past decade while at the same time use blue states financial positions as a negative - in fact you want them to be "ACCOUNTABLE". Why not hold these airlines to the same standard?

for the record, i dont agree with your rationale at all about "what is 1200 and 1600 gonna do". itll do plenty for enough people, im not sure why you expect everyone to get a 20 thousand dollar check

if you lost your airline job last week, for example, that 1200 and 1600 a month probably helps a lot

It’s all relative. If you was making 6 figures it does nothing to keep up with bills. It won’t stop the fall, not even a little.

it will help if you got another job lined up. To someone whose about to get evicted for not paying rent in months it doesn’t very little. Unless your rent was $100 a month

multiple times in this thread I said the original plan was doomed from the start the first bill passed on March.

I called for everyone getting $6000 to $8000, and completely shut down the country for 2 months. Freeze everything. But despite half ass lockdowns, minimum testing and no contact tracing, the government rolled out billions with no oversite. People who didn’t need money got it, others stole it, and many people who needed it, got little to none of it.

money alone solves nothing. The time to fix and prevent has passed. We have learned to live with this shyt. So until there is an effective and legit vaccine, it will take a $5 trillion stimulus to undo the bullshyt this government has caused.
