In that Matt Stoller interview, he brought another good point. People on the left in this country whether it’s the neoliberals, the center lefties, the progressives, the DSA folk, whoever... they don’t really govern or wield power. There’s endless talk about dumb shid and sidetracking.

People like Jimmy are going to always call everyone a fukking sellout and talk about a third party. But that’s all it is. Fukking talk! No organizing or delving into learning about the issues that gain power.

People talk about FDR and his ability to change the country. Well, FDR was a rich dude who was a Governor. And had to make concessions to the Labor movement, the Communists, and others cause they were really organized and willing to die on the streets with their pitchforks in the Depression.

A lot of whining in this thread. Anyone who thinks the dems got "okie doked" is not very bright.... they know full well what they signed up for. It's politics.

The game they are playing is look how we helped the common man and look how Trump and the corporations don't care about the everyday person.

It might be a losing game at this point only because most of America is retarded and we didn't know exactly how retarded America is until the 2016 election. The left is still adjusting to the lack of education on the other side.

So yes, many people will say the Dems sold out, they are wrong.. many people will say "thank you Trump" for the check..

But this isn't about the dumb redneck in Mississippi or the crybaby idealists or people in here who think the Dems didn't know what they were doing.

This is about a handful of states in November. Watch what's going on in Michigan. If Trump hasn't already lost Michigan I'll be the first to come back here and tell you I'm wrong but in my view he's already lost Michigan. Now let's move on to Pennsylvania.
