so let me get this straight. in your scenario:

-the entire country desperately needs a stimulus, a month before the election
-mnuchin signs off on it, and pelosi signs off on it, so by extension the president and the senate democrats sign off on it. the president will be actively pushing for it to pass
-but mitch mcconnell, who's in danger of losing the senate, is going to refuse to put the bill up for a vote, laying the blame squarely at the feet of himself and the senate republicans that a stimulus with free money didnt pass?

that's the worst take ive ever heard :russ: come on breh. youve gotta be shytting me. you dont even believe what you're typing

Did you just see what I posted? Republicans not up for reelection don’t care. Grassly said this will be a hard sell and he’s over the finance chair. They don’t want to be primaried by some hard right challenger who will run on they agreed with liberal Nancy and the reviled Trump administration in saving blue states two years from now. They are banking on the SC seat and that will save some of these vulnerable senators. Cause you know their moron constituents care more about overturning roe than their own financial security.

you're dead wrong :yeshrug:

let me repeat again; you're implying that the republican senate would shoot down a relief bill that their own president had proposed and signed off on, a month before the election. worst take ive ever seen

and let me repeat again. They know Trump is losing and want to protect their flank. And like I said Trump isn’t even pushing this hard. No tweets or statements in press conferences. This is munchkin and meadows. The worst case scenario for them is Nancy calls there and agrees while the president publicly endorses this.

so the senate republicans would present themselves as the sole factor holding up a stimulus relief bill that the entire country wants, after it passed the president, the house, and the senate democrats, one month before the election. that's what you're saying?

i mean im sorry breh, but this is just the worst take ive ever seen :dead:

The Republicans who are trying to repeal the ACA in the middle of a pandemic while saying they will cover preexisting conditions?

You really think their behavior is far off from what he’s telling you?

repealing the ACA, which they started trying to do 10 years ago, has literally nothing to do with passing a stimulus bill this october
I mean you just don’t get it :snoop:
no, you're spinning some bullshyt, internet liberal fantasy that's not based in reality. the idea that the senate republicans would make themselves the face of denying stimulus to the american people, a month before the election, is asinine

again; THEY ALREADY PROPOSEDD A 1.3 TRILLION DOLLAR BILL THAT CONTAINS ALL OF THIS shyt :what:

OF COURSE they would sign off on a bill that trump/mnuchin signed off on :snoop::snoop::snoop:

And MCConnell has let how many bills sit in his desk for the past four years and blamed the Dems before and after the pandemic started.

You really think a pandemic is going to change their behavior?

How many times and ways they have to show they don’t care about elections when they have gerrymandering before you believe them?

so let me get this straight: the senate republicans would make themselves the face of turning down a "free money for everyone" stimulus, a month before the election, after the president and the democrats all signed off on it

i mean again, no disrespect but this is the stupidest fukking thing ive ever heard :yeshrug: i have no idea where you're coming from with this complete detachment from reality

why would the senate republicans make themselves the face of turning down a massively popular stimulus bill that their OWN PRESIDENT signed off on? where everyone in the country gets a free check from the government? what fukking planet are you guys on with this claim? :laff:

Are you living in a tunnel?

When has the GOP ever not stopped “free money” as socialism and deficit spending?

When have the GOP ever taken responsibility for their actions? They just blame the Dems and the swamp and Soros and socialism and Castro and Antifa.

You seem to be tightly clinging to the idea that they care about the timetable of an election.

when that free money was going directly into the hands of their own voters, and the entire country, one month before an election. but your contention is that the senate republicans want to go tell their voters "yes, i'm personally the reason you didnt get a 1200 dollar check. me and mitch mcconnell". that's what you're saying?

you democrat shills are something else :yeshrug: this is insane. i can't believe what im reading

Look at it differently, Senate Republicans do not want to be known as giving "free money" to everyone.
