im not against anyone in this thread. i had/have no intention of arguing with anyone in this threadim asking why on earth pelosi should be turning this down from the white house
so yes, i guess i dont know whats going on. can you explain why pelosi should turn that down? and when/how that will lead to her bill getting passed instead?

Republicans have already made it clear they're not passing this bill, it's not making it through Senate. This is theatrics so Democrats have something to point to when shyt hits the fan, Republicans won't even that to lean on.
The major downside is those who really need help will not be getting it unfortunately. One of the few upsides which seems light compared to the downside is Trump's stock market is finished. This market priced in a stimulus coming and we've rallied the past few days on the talk, no stimulus and we're dropping hard. His artificially fueled market and folks 401ks is all he has at this point, might as well add it to the pile that'll get him out.

i cant believe that the republicans offered up 1200 dollar checks and 400/week and she didnt take it

I'm kinda shocked with those new relief plan being stuck in political hell.
What exactly is holding it up ? I'm going to go back and read through the thread but the second round of stimulus is immensely important. People really need it out here.
