Arguing with you is like trying to make a deal with the senate . shyt ain’t going anywhere because the other side always gon be trolling:pachaha:

Not sure how you could come up with any conclusion besides him being the senate then.

"Why doesn't she agree and let McConnell reject it" is not only an incredibly stupid & disingenuous question, nobody not directly involved in discussion can even fully answer it. So why feel the need to spam over and over.

All we can go off of is the information Pelosi and or the GOP gives. And as of Saturday, Pelosi says the same hangs up that have been there all along are still there. Local/state aid, unemployment insurance, child care packages. Things the common man needs during a crisis/pandemic. This whole "make Mitch look bad" thing that guy keeps rambling about should already be playing out if there were any legs to it.

So instead of repeatedly asking why the Dems will not agree to a bill that favors business protections from injury/death from COVID, skimpy aid for workers, the GOP bankrolling x amount of dollars for nothing, he should sit there and ask himself what advantage the Democrats have in agreeing to something that goes against their values, for a bill that even at the lowered 1.8 the GOP still says no to, in the middle of an election year where their candidate is up double digits nationally and grows every day. Then he should sit there and figure out how to be less of a bytch.

It’s predicated on some silly idea Pelosi will make McConnell and the GOP look bad when they’ve shown time and again they don’t care.

He looked bad for & months holding that SCOTUS seat and now it’s paying off.

He looked bad trying to take the ACA down and losing and just went back to court to overturn it.

Pelosi has some leverage right now. Airlines industry about to feel real pain. She should have gotten her deal in the spring when she actually had real leverage :yeshrug:

leverage to get/do what? :why:

i have the whole thread telling me that mitch wont even sign off on the mnuchin 1.6 trillion, so how does pelosi have leverage to get HER deal? :dead: you guys are all over the place

and you know how this ends? everyone who's out of work right now gets no extra money until March. thats a tough fukkin winter

so excuse me for not applauding pelosi with that being the case

She didn’t have leverage cause the GOP governors started reopening their states in April and May when the deaths hadn’t yet spiked anywhere except New York.

Once the majority of curves started to flatten in June the Republicans lost all appetite to do anything

answer this

if you "know" the senate wont take it, why shouldnt pelosi just take it, since she would be losing absolutely nothing by taking a deal that mitch will be the one to kill?
