1) The dems should have accepted the trash Senate bill last month
2) Pelosi has no leverage despite the fact that Trump has continuously signaled publicly he wants a huge bill
3) McConnell and the GOP senate will go along with the White House bill despite McConnell saying he won’t even bring it up on the floor and multiple senators publicly distancing themselves from Trump
4) McConnell dredging up some dead worthless bill is proof he wants to provide real stimulus

What in struggling to grasp is why you won’t admit that in your opinion it’s perfectly fine that the dems should accept an inferior bill instead of the other way around. It’s clear as day you fill this way with your previous talk about the debt/deficit

1. ill give pelosi credit for getting mnuchin from 1.6 to 1.8, but if she doesnt cash it in thats worthless
2. no, she doesnt. not to get the amount she wants
3. thats my opinion, cant be proven true or false til pelosi signs off on mnuchin
4. it would pass the senate if it passed the house

I don't give a sh*t what she said in a TV interview were she essentially accused Blitzer of being a GOP apologist. I'm more interested in actions. If she delivers in January, thats too long but still before February. If she delivers next week, that's still too long and should have been months ago.

She can not allow the GOP to spoon feed the American public AGAIN with no real plan financially or epidemiological that everyone is sitting back doing this song and dance all over again after a small group of citizens get a one time payment that doesn't address the debt that has been piling up and how they're going to eat a couple weeks after.

You don't seem to understand that Congress does not shutdown and that everyone is operating off the idea that Trump is going to act like a sore loser. None of us know anything other than what we can actually see taking place, that's regular conversation between Pelosi and Mnuchin.

there is no way on gods green earth that a DIME of stimulus passes between nov-february, if pelosi doesnt agree to something before the election

the ONLY leverage she has on the republican senate is the election coming up. and shes squandered it

seems like theres some confusion on anything passing after the election. lets clear that up

-if the democrats take the senate on november 3rd, the republicans arent gonna sign off on a dime, because they know the spending thats about to follow
-if the republicans keep the senate, then nothing is passing except that 500 billion. pelosis 3.4 or 2.2 or whatever will remain laughably out of reach

so if her plan is to count on winning the senate and white house, then fine. but what i cant respect is her getting on wolf blitzer and lying that "i know what im doing wolf, no one will have to wait until february for stimulus". when thats exactly whats going to happen

i still think she should take trump/mnuchins 1.8 before the election, and see what happens. its that or nothing, so she has nothing to lose
