McConnell has been trying to get the liability shield for 7 months. They forgot to do it in the CARES Act and the US Chamber is now aggressively pushing it.

the fact that these clowns haven't been able to agree on a stimulus deal for MONTHS while people are out here losing their livelihoods is such an embarrassment. really goes to show how broken the american political system is, politicians on both sides just pandering for votes and to their donors while citizens bear the burden. meanwhile people in other countries getting monthly checks cuz their governments actually care.

If this 900bn stimulus bill is passed they will never ever pass another one again, especially with vaccine starting to be widely distributed in the spring.

Democrats need to grow some balls and demand bill to be doubled or threaten to block government funding

People are simply waiting and watching, keeping an attentive eye on each update about the stimulus negotiations while counting the days that remain before their benefits expire on the 26th. If a stimulus agreement isn’t reached by Xmas, there absolutely will be riots across the country. We are already witnessing violence erupt in several states as evictions begin.
