Dems know this shyt aint gonna pass. They all came out yesterday on some "seeeee Trump wants 2k checks!" They using this opportunity to make the republicans look like the bad guy. Trump put the GOP in a corner and Dems are using it to up their chance in GA.

Right now the $600 checks cost $167 billion (out of the $900 billion total). Increasing the checks to $2,000 would increase the cost to $370 billion (which would increase the total to around $1.103 trillion). Keep in mind the original agreement that Republicans and Democrats had in place was between $1.8 trillion and $1.9 trillion so it’s still much cheaper. So......what’s the problem
