I had something typed out for what you previously replied to but I kept it short


they're already too partisan to care or even learn, they won't understand that the foreign funding wasn't even part of the covid bill or that is normal spending some may even be bound by treaties(Egypt/Israel) and I'm frankly not even sure if Trump or some of the R's I've seen comment on it get it...

I can easily imagine people who are still in Trump's corner or R's are thinking trust the president he's always right and foreign aid isn't America first. The nuances just don't matter.
If you took what Trump is saying at face value I think most people would agree with him.

Congressional salary begins at 100k is thats 6 figures for any elected member of congress

Senate is like 200k

It can't be book sales and speaking jobs that make all these politicians millionaires
Its a pay for play system and there's no term limits to stop it

The average American is hungry for a small bit of money in comparison

Up until recently it was legal for members of Congress to profit from insider trading in the markets and I’m sure that hasn’t really changed. Maybe on paper, but they’re still at it.

That’s incentive enough for those who understand how much money can be made.
