Only way I see this working is against Taker and a slow build to a WM match.

Have Taker keep catching beatdowns from the Shield until Sting saves him.

Taker sticks out his hand, Sting points his bat.

Crow Sting is the best way to go, but they'd have to figure out a way to build him and Taker without Sting talking (Sting is horrible on the mic to me).

Either way, I'm excited about this.

Rumble season should be good if Batista and Sting are on the horizon.
Never has this smiley been more appropriate :dahell:

Sting is MUCH, MUCH, MUCH, MUCH better on the mic than Taker, Cena, and mostly everyone in the E these days.

Breh, I don't know. I'm a huge Sting fan from back in the WCW days, but Sting was very average on the mic. He spoke with a lot of enthusiasm so that kind of covered for what he's actually saying. I haven't really watched TNA for the past 3-4 years, so I don't know if he's gotten better.

In the right city Sting would get a monster pop.

If Diesel coming back at Royal Rumble can get a pop then Sting can get a pop.

And if Sting is indeed coming to WWE then I almost don't want him to feud against Taker at WM. Mainly because of the streak. There is no way Vince would ever allow Sting of all people to break it. Its just not possible. And that makes for a boring match, at least for me.

Have a feud with Taker but do it after WM. Let Sting fight a young lion or two first.

In his prime? You're right. But he's had some of the best money promos over the last 3 years at least. He's been on better in the same vein Mark Henry has been as a overall package over the last 3 years in general.

Sting and Hogan had a big time money promo during the "Trust Bubba Ray" storyline right before WM 29. It was really good and had the crowd going nuts. He can go when he has to these days....I think Austin called him his favorite mic worker this year.

He's in his early 50's. Breh's the ship has sailed on a good Sting run. I'd hate to see a flabby Sting in WWE going over a flabby Taker. Just put him in the HOF and be done with it.

I doubt they will have Sting come down from the rafters after Owen but he needs to come out as the dark silent Sting for it to work. Have Taker announce he's retiring he's beaten them all then out comes sting and he points the bat at taker then at the wrestlemania logo :ahh:

I don't think anyone is expecting a "good" Sting run in the sense of in ring mastery, that ship has sailed but a great story/fair book and nostalgia are strong ingredients. Hogan was full of quality "supplementation and horse meats" plus could barely move in the ring yet him and the Rock pulled out a classic build and match.

Sting had some damn good promos leading up to the Samoa Joe match at Bound for Glory. The man still delivers strong promos when he's called upon. He's been wanting that Taker match so you best believe you'd get a motivated
shirtless for the cats with man crushes on him :hmm:
and ready Sting if it went down. I really don't mind thr idea of Taker getting the duke over him if its done in a not clear we know what's gonna happen manner.

Vince still is the end all and he loves the guy so I'm not too concerned about Hurricane Haiche coming thru :smugfavre:

So Sting is better on the mic than anyone in the E now? :deadcena:

It's not a coincidence that he was his most popular when he was silent. :mjpls:

I remember making this point not too long ago. Sting was at his peak with fans when he stopped talking. Nobody wanted to hear a Borden promo with him screaming.

:laff: @ that butler school reject dweeb trying to say that Sting was EVER better than Taker or Cena. Sting wasn't a top 5 mic worker in WCW. Ryback cuts more entertaining promos than Sting.

I'm not looking up shyt. I don't do favors for pretenders but watch the Main Event Mafia, the Joker Sting promos, and the whole thing with him and Nash knowing it was Hogan all along....the Sting and Hogan promos this year. I don't know anyone in TNA that has touched him..no one even close unless the comedy shyt by Bad Attitude is what you mark for.
