He wrote a Christian book called moment of truth about 10 years ago and said he was in a really bad place in the summer of 1998 (drinking, cheating, implied possible drug use etc) and needed to make some major changes. Got saved in like September and took the personal time off after Havoc so the feud he and Bret were having that summer could conclude.
