I would love to know how the hell they even convinced Stinger to do this

This was when Hogan was doing his bullshyt on top when he first came to WCW so Sting moved down to upper mid-card status for a bit and didn't really have a direction, but he was still the most popular guy with WCW fans and in his prime physically.

I fukk with Bossman but he was past his prime here and probably the heaviest in his career, it didn't really seem like they ever had much of a direction for him, so how tf do you justify putting him over Sting?

I can't see any other guy on Sting's level who lost a match cleanly to someone on this level
