The only way I agree with this happening is if Seth came back on some REAL heel shyt. Im talking having Sting jumped on site whenever he enters the arena like they used to do. Some legit cheating. You know just, really drive home the point that he isnt just some punk running his mouth anymore. They could have used this to have him start disregarding Triple H and cause tension there. When he starts thinking he doesnt need the Authority anymore he finally stands on his own. Fans no longer see him as a lap dog, HHH, Kane, and Steph aint all up in the video, Stings fans get to see something they thought was impossible. Everyone is happy
Sting has to be a transitional champ of course, but i dont see how it would have been a bad thing if they used it right. Seth was getting stale. Sting paid his dues and deserves it. The whole thing could have lead to actual character development, Hell as an added bonus if they used this angle to separate Seth and the Authority it opens up more possibilities with Ambrose and Reigns as well

I wouldn't have been mad at him for beating Rollins if he lost it right back at the next PPV or something like that. He deserved a run with the belt for all his years of greatness but ultimately it wasn't/isn't meant to be. That or the Undertaker match that will probably happen should have been done years ago when Sting should have joined the WWE (but with the way they booked him maybe he was right about his fears of them burying him) in his prime or at least close to it.
