They need to get Sting to teach some of these young dudes on the roster about promo work. Especially the baby faces. The babyface is supposed to make you believe what he's saying and make you want to cheer for him. You should want the babyface to overcome the heel.
Some of these dudes talk like they are unsure of their character motivations and don't truly believe what they're saying.
Sting always spoke with confidence and that's important. When he got fired up it made you want to get behind him because he was speaking like he believed in what he was saying. He spoke with conviction and passion, he made sure he kept your attention.
Edit: Then again, the scripted direction hurts a lot of these dudes too.
