I live downtown by the new soccer stadium on locust, as soon as the shyt hit I was leaving out driving home to nyc.

We’re good. It actually hit right by my kids’ school which is 4 minutes from the house, but somehow it missed our neighborhood completely. A normal 4 minute drive to pick my kids up took about 50 minutes because of the trees that were knocked down everywhere. Everyone’s good though. Hit north side real bad, of course it just had to hit the black area the hardest. Crazy because tornado’s always die down by the time they reach the metro area because it’s dense. Not this time.

I live in U City, kids go to school in Clayton. I was sitting at home and it was raining hard for like 10 minutes but that was it. I thought it was just a quick little rain. Went to get my kids and they sent an email that all after school activities were cancelled and kids need to be picked up now. Streets were blocked everywhere soon as I got to downtown Clayton.
