I'd put Owens ahead at #1, but she'd definitely be #2 on the list. They both tell stories in the ring and play their roles very well as heels.

Owens became just another guy after a overrated match where he and Cena kept kicking out to prolong a match. The Sasha and Bayley match is better than any Owens WWE/NXT match to date and she has definitely been in more demand by the paying public.

Just another guy? Can't say I agree. Owens/Cena were playing to a completely different crowd over their matches than Sasha/Bayley in NXT. Owens/Zayn, for example, was every bit as entertaining when Owens was in Florida too. He's adjusting to the main roster, and doing it very well imo.

Said this after the Sasha/Bailey BK match, she just works the type of match the males don't anymore. This year in the particular most of the roster fell into an "indy style" that wasn't so pronounced in years past. Sasha tries to display all the levels there are for wrestling and that's a breath of fresh air when you got so many dudes just doing the same shyt over and over.

Stone GOAT really is a wrestling nerd. The only place I've read people using "video game" as an analogy to today's WWE main event style are really hardcore sites like PWO :pachaha: He's right though, it's very hard finding guys that are willing to build a match and do compelling shyt before going all out in the last 3-5 minutes of a match. Most of them just go through a laundry list of spots and moves with very little intention to build drama and/or sympathy until the finishing sequence, it's a shame.

Owens isn't doing anything right now. He's kind of wasting away..crowd likes him but that's his one thing. And his Cena matches got a little ridiculous after the first kick out fest.

Sasha ain't doing shyt either breh? Holding hands with Tamina and Naomi shouting "Unity!" pretending to be the female New Day? :patrice: The point above was regards to in-ring work and storytelling, which is what Austin is getting at. Owens' "chinlock city" is a perfect example of how he plays his role expertly & isn't trying to get folk chanting "this is awesome" every minute of a match imo :manny:

Homie..the Sasha push is very much on the way. You see it....Cole and the commentators are alluding to the crowd being with her to a degree that she can't be denied..Charlotte is slowly turning heel....wake up. See between the lines for once. Sasha takes a little kid's trinkets and twitter and the IWC go wild. Owens says Chinlock City in a dead crowd and you thought that meant something? Where's the signs for it? Besides you, who marked out for it? Wake up. You sound silly as hell.

At what point am I denying Sasha is great and a push is imminent? I'm staying on point. This isn't about pushes.

You seemed to have missed the chinlock city point altogether. The purpose is that people DON'T mark out for it, and that it pisses the general crowd off. He's a heel, so act like one in the ring, which he does extremely well, whereas many heels on the roster work babyface in the ring as a heel. Del Rio for example tapping his arm, yelling "Si, Si, Si" with the crowd trying to get over.

I don't think it pisses the crowd off. The fans like Owens but he is going against Ambrose soon? So it might get heat at long last..
