Regardless what you base it on. popularity or wrestling skills. Ain’t no fukkin way undertaker belongs on a mount rushmore or even the B squad of mt rushmore.

Theres atleast 10 wrestlers more popular or iconic than taker. Just off top, hogan, warrior, flair, macho, stone cold, rock, foley, sting, cena, HBK, Hart.

I stopped watching wrestling since 2005 , but Undertaker is still a much more iconic name than John Cena. Cena is more in the "Flair, Michaels, Angle, Lesnar" tier.

Cena is literally fully mainstream celebrity status. And part of the issue is if you're only listening to wrestling forum people they're going to try to act like they hated Cena, but ask non forum fans and Cena was that dude to them. He's up there. There would be times i'd be on some "here this dude go " shyt during his pushes. Then by the end of his promo i'd be lowkey "can't wait for this match at ______".

Also, i think people are downplaying Flair here. Ask people over 45+ about Flair. He's their "Michael Jordan" of wrestling.

Flair was out there still out there getting dropped on his back in his old age. Plus he was a star in the territories, WCW, WWF and even TNA. 16 time-world champion. Was the ultimate sneaky-heel character. And brought SWAG to professional wrestling. No one had that. NO ONE until Flair. Even Macho Man did it after Flair. It's easily Hogan, Rock, Austin and then Flair. He wasn't the mega mega star the others were. But he was a tried and true champion that brought the best elements to wrestling and still became known in the mainstream.

Flair took from Buddy Roger's so you can't rock with that Macho Man follow him guise..Flair was never apart of anything bigger than WM 5 at the time.

Taker deserves to be in the discussion. He was at his peak in terms of match quality in the late 2000s (vs. Batista, Edge, HBK, Angle) but I did like debut Taker as a character the most. I experienced that early 90s Taker through DVDs & not in the moment but the mystique him & Bearer created is unmatched to me.

I get he doesn't star in movies or have his promos repeated in locker rooms hype chants, but he was part of some of the biggest moments in wrestling (streak, first HIAC, OG feud w/ Kane, cell match vs. Mankind) & more transcendent than being given credit itt.

Also, Cena wouldn't be in my Mt. Rushmore, but acting like he's nowhere near that territory while rattling off stars that were 2nd fiddle to Hogan comes off very (not saying Macho Man doesn't deserve to be either)
