They were referred as "black" by the settlers of Australia.
There's a word lighter skinned Indians use for darkskin Indians called "Khala" which is the equivalent to the N-word.
Doesn't mean they're what Black Americans think of as "black" today. Nor does it mean there is some connection between between Aborigines and Africans.

Thats not the only definition of "black" there is.

Moreover, that definition within the US has only been in use (amongst African Americans) since the 60s. Its been in use in other places for much longer.

Yes, but that does NOT connect black Americans to the aborigines. Their history and accomplishments are not ours!

I remember a guest lecturer at Cambridge university giving a lecture on the found remains of people with elongated skulls that inhabited the stone henge area, had the 'skulls' and everything and seemed pretty out there :francis:


With the history of that island being one of constant invasions, who knows

It's not that far fetched if we believe all humans were originally black (i.e. not the CAC Cro Magnon and Neanderthal beasts that used to roam the region)
