I live in South DeKalb. They starting to build where I’m at now.

Panthersville has some low income units going up now. Flat Shoals just had a 55+ community with a grip of units open this year.

I’m thinking about buying in Ellenwood instead to get away from the foolery.

Black folks forever treating ATL like its the Mecca, when they overlook true meccas in dire need of black excellence.

• Maryland
  
• North Carolina (despite the stigma of lmao souf, you can make bread out there)
  
• South Caroline (third bullet point)
  
• Koalabama (Quiet life away from the hustle of the north. Ignore the stigma)
  
• Oregon (Yeah its a wild stretch because cacs...but trust ya smooth brain marsupial on this but....mountains)

I wish black folks would stop climbing in a crowded elevator, when you can wait for the next elevator ride to get you to the top. ATL tired of the fukking leafers and even my wife can testify as somebody who went to the A, and was eating good on the outskirts.

All the places you listed have a high cost of living except Alabama and that state already have a lot of black people. I don't know nothing about Oregon, but I'm curious and you should fill us in on that if you have the chance.

I honestly pulled Oregon out of my ass , but on the real like we as black folks need to find different solace of escape, instead of being in the same box. It always drove me nuts when folks thought that I moved to Atlanta because I moved to GA, like Georgia itself is bigger than the city. Just like Koalabama is more than just meemaw babble. Over the course of years I have seen the beauty of nature and surroundings beyond the typical go to places. Black folks period need to expand beyond, but be aware of surroundings.

Oregon may be , but for all I know black natives probably would show the marsupial where the money at, if I climb through. Now if heads talking about Montana or some bumble butt place in Iowa..... know the ledge.

Agreed. Camping, hiking, and a lot of out door things is often called cac culture. nikkahs can only be in the loud ass dirty city But the major downside about Oregon is there's nothing to really do.

Shoot there's nothing much to do nowadays even in major cities...especially after the pandemic. After a while, you got to sit back and just say to yourself....I need to be productive instead of relying on a place to make me feel productive.

I used to live in college towns that reek of boredom, but the misses and I managed to keep it trucking with parks, community events, and even embracing homebody life. My biggest goal is to move to Morocco or stay for a spell. I just want to get away from the nonsense of this country, but baby steps for the time being, along with appreciating your surroundings for what it's worth.
