This isn't about 50. It's about the general sentiment of the board. Within the first few posts about any project someone has to talk about retail sales figures. Whether it be "Jay needs so and so for sales" or "Big Sean flopped though" or "J Cole will never do Drake's numbers" and it just gets old. fukkin enjoy the music. Y'all probably sit and watch TV like "aw man The Wire is dope but did the DVD's outsell The Sopranos box set?"

This is about 50, whether those were your intentions we don't know, but 50 is responsible for this. I remember being on the forums when cats were discussing how 50 just got on live radio with the latest Soundscan sheet and started putting other rappers numbers on blast. Shyt was funny back then for 50 fans, but not so much now because "no one is selling", which is a bullshyt cop out.

It doesn't matter what the industry as a whole is doing, as long as some rappers are bringing home platinum plaques then the comparison is valid. 10 years ago 50 was selling more then Jay, Wayne and Kanye and they all outlasted him. 50 fans want to hide behind the mixtape or no promo excuse but if 50 had a fanbase he would've sold a hell of a lot more, plain and simple.
