I'm glad Killer got to cross over a little bit, but that shyt aint getting love from his core fans. And he's gotta know it, as "clued in" as he is.

If you're a "run the jewels" fan, I already know what your "brand" of rap music is, and its not remotely tolerated outside of festivals where no one knows the songs anyways.

...and I consider myself one of the most "diverse" ears to rap/hip-hop out there.

Its just NOT good.

In fact, if you're a RTJ fan but you dislike Macklemore (for no real reason), you're worse than Immortal Technique fans.

I've been a Mike fan since I discovered pledge 1 and 2 back in 2010. I even consider Pledge 2 to be a classic. that being said, R.A.P is easily his best solo work and both RTJ albums are dope front to back. They got undeniable chemistry.

Killer Mike over EL-P's [electro meets bombsquad] production is amazing.

That being said, Run The Jewels is just aight to me.
