My point: "Talking white" = intelligence is a white supremist view no matter whos mouth it comes out of...A black man telling you you talk white is his own insecurity and exposes his beliefs, besause most people who get told dont actually talk like no valley girl or some yuply they just talk proper.
A white person telling you the same thing in different words is meant to indicate you are not like the others, you're better because you more like me... Its a divisive.

I've heard it before...Ive personally witnessed black kids who had good grades, didn't use slang and took piano lessons as being blacks who "acted white"...mind you, this was typically from lower income blacks.

The only time they get a pass is if they are ultra militant "woke" or "conscious"...anything out of that prism is usually considered being "white" in character

I got this anytime I forgot to code switch in h.s. and it bummed me out. I went to a mostly white and mexican h.s. and took mad APs I was the only black male in 90% of my classes in h.s. But I also ran track freshman through junior year, so not using certain ebonics/slang, would get you looks/roasted. I never took it personally but it bummed me out because it let me know how limited those clowning perspectives were on black folk and life. If you can't speak without slang barring being an athlete/artist/or entrepreneur you'll never make 6 figs. Like that's one of the first thing they're evaluating in an interview, and all because it what other brehs do and what's cool. Honestly in retrospect it's depressing to think about. The shyt people do to "fit in"...

This isn’t as common as people think it is. And the person who said it’s mostly from low income people is correct. They are not exposed to a variety of beliefs, or lifestyles. I only associate with black intellectuals now, and nobody is accusing anyone of acting white.

And most of the kids who are told they act white, are nerdy, and corny. A charismatic, and attractive black person isn’t being ostracized in the black community. Nerds are not at the top of the social ladder in any culture.
