if Hogan is truly sorry, then I forgive him.

but Austin is right in that it'll never be forgotten.

But why are y;all acting like Stone Cold co-signed the comments. He clearly did no such thing.

The thing is that, he clearly isn't. Not even on a surface level.

Every interview he's had about his comments, he's only ever made defensive and excusatory remarks. "When i grew up in Florida, everyone talked like that". "I'm not really like that". "Everyone that knows me....blah blah blah".

Where has Hogan come out and said that he's sorry to his black fans for letting them down? When has he tried to make some sort of true amends?

He's basically trying to just let enough time pass by until he's "forgiven" (By white crackers). Don't ever come out and apologize, don't ever take back the comments, just keep pushing the "Official Neocon Talking Points On The N-Word" and after awhile, people will think enough time has passed for him to be accepted again. Unfortunately, he's almost certainly gonna get away with this. And there's nothing we can do about it.

Keep in mind, I don't really *care* about a Hogan apology. A better way to say that, would be to say : I would never expect any remorse from him to be genuine. Hogan has probably been a bigot his entire life, nothing was shocking about that tape. The "apology tour" from celebrities is never genuine and we should never expect it to be. However, even though these pr-procedures are fake, not partaking in them actually comes across as doubling-down on his comments; it's an extra slap in the face. Not partaking also means that when he is eventually "taken back" by the WWE, they are essentially cosigning his comments completely. He's never retracted them, so....

Makes you wonder how many "bad days" that The Ringmassa has had in the past. :mjpls:

Sheeeeiiiiit, Austin has probably had so many "bad days" that he uses this as his ringtone :

Yep. They gave Rock a complete train wreck of a movie too :mjpls:. It was very hard to follow and I didn't think Hercules even had kids so early in his life. The Premacy was STRONG with this shyt.

:dahell: That Hercules film was good, fun popcorn entertainment :smugdraper: Lighten up nikka :rudy:

Skim through thread, it is what it is, he's white and has a particular upbringing. People will believe what they believe. Never liked the Austin character, and was a huge Rock fan, but I met a lot of superstars backstage at MSG, and Austin and Chyna were by far the best to see in person and meet. They are great people. Hardyz (who were my idols) were complete let downs.

I didn't follow any incidence closely, but I was offended by anything Hogan did or said that got press past few years. He needs to be forgiven, there's so much worse done by other WWE Hall of Famers. the whole scene promotes fukkery and disrespect. Vince is prolly the worst, so for him to even ban Hogan and suspend Titus is ridiculous.

A lot of these wrestlers lived where they lived growing up, entered a circus, and made money. They aren't educated or cultured. What do you expect from them?

You guys are being weak-minded.

It's all fun and games for us to use nicknames etc in relation to racism in wrestling, but at the end of the day there's probably someone sitting next to you right now at work that's racist. Or behind you at the grocry store.

The fact that y'all really care so much about Hogan to where u attack me for letting it go, is kinda strange. Grow up.

Maybe Hogan is sorry, maybe he's not. If he is, I forgive him. If he's not, well that's on him. Either way, I'm not supporting him financially or watching his matches.

There's no point in me walking around hating everyone that's racist. Doesn't mean I deal with them, but I just let it go.

My life is too great to walk around mad at shyt I can't control. :manny:

Stay mad tho if it helps you.
Damn white folks really did a number on us :snoop:

I got no ill will towards you breh, if that's how you wanna approach things so be it. I just hope you can soon understand the value of having self worth.

what's worse is Hogan has over 30 years of good cache built up, "forgive" is the wrong phrase, most would just move the fukk on from the "Hogan business" I don't avoid his matches if they come on on the network for instance since he was involved in one of my favorite storylines ever obviously but i'm still tight towards him. Quite a bit of it has to do with so many non black folks being so insistent black people forgive him and move on immediately, it wouldn't have blown up to the proportion that it has if the parties who aren't even the targets of his words, ignorance and malice had just shut the fukk up and let us deal with it on our on time.

Like damn, give us a minute to be upset at least, the transcripts weren't even done being read before people on this very board were like :whoa: hey guys lets not jump to conclusions and overreact here. The arrogance of some people thinking they have the right to tell others how they get to react to something is appalling. If I walked down the street and shoved someone and it prompted them to pull a gun do I have the right to tell them they are overreacting to the current situation?

The world moves FAST these days, yes he would have taken a hit with some of us who know the extent of the racism Hogan extended when speaking about his OWN DAUGHTER dating a black man because we've been there. .. Hulk would've gotten the standard meme and gif treatment most celebrities get when they fukk up royally and it likely would have gone away for the most part by now because every day is a new chance for a "celeb" to say and do some fukked up shyt word to the Donald Trump's of the world

but the fact so many NON blacks were all over social media proclaiming their love for Hulk "he made a mistake, we all make mistakes blah blah blah" telling us we need to chill is why its still an issue and a talking point to begin with.

Austin would've done well to say no comment, I know we live in a society where no comment = co-sign but why even touch it.
You should hate him too

He refused to do the right thing and do the job for Sting at Starcade
