I've always liked how Harada tried to give good representation to different races in game though.
shyt as long as the characters arent minstrelyAbsolutely
I'm not even a Tekken fan, but a new black character in a franchise that consistently lags behind Street Fighter in popularity had to come out of the gate hammering everything in his path just to grab attention. I suspect the devs did that on purpose, because Tekken as a franchise is veeeery late to waking up to just how many black gamers are into fighting games. SF has major characters in Balrog, DeeJay and Dudley and there's a pretty deep player base there as a result.
Harada-san needs better foreign advisors. Eddy Gordo ain't cutting it.

some of the sf concept art got me like![]()
but it actually works well in-game without being insulting.I've seen Balrog art looking crazyGot to give them props for that at least....because the first time I saw Leroy with the cane I wentbut it actually works well in-game without being insulting.
Which SF concept art do you mean?
I've seen Balrog art looking crazy

All three of those characters are caricatures of black people.SF has major characters in Balrog, DeeJay and Dudley and there's a pretty deep player base there as a result.
