Not putting your music on the streamers is up there with the single most annoying thing artists can do nowadays :francis:

The first black star album is one of my favorite of all timesโ€ฆstill never even listened to the second one because they got too cute with how they released it lol

Bro has managed his career horribly since Reasonable Drought :mjlol:

All his dusty rap peers dropping albums left and right and he was quiet for years other than being WSG's Sen Dog, then he pops back out charging a milli for some bullshyt album and now charging folks for a 20 mintue album (which he's clearly double dipping by splitting one album and selling it twice as side a and side b)

He's clearly looking to just cash out and make a quick buck rather than build up a fanbase over the long term.

I know he's got some contractual issues but he's definitely going the wrong way with this stuff. If he's trying to follow the Mach-Hommy blueprint then the music itself has to be hitting and unique to build up a true cult audience.
I'm gonna be realโ€ฆthat whole drumless underground NY wave is already over with. He couldn't even get out of the starting blocks to build a real fanbase b/c he in a contract mess. I mean as great as Reasonable Drought was he waited too long to build from it (and low key was trying to act like Roc wasn't a big part of it). Jumped ship to WSG and Griselda without making sure all his shyt was straight. All it took was a chain for him to voluntarily be in contract purgatory.

Two years later and still no official album just these cash grabs.

I donโ€™t understand what kind of label issues he has that hinders his ability to release music. Whatโ€™s the deal?

Bronze Nazareth said that Babygrande was a real shady company and he was on a real fukked up contract but finally got out. He has for years stated for they were robbing all their artist so I can believe it.
