"Straight" Co-workers think it's NORMAL to go drink at gay bars..

So I'm at work one day and the subject of gay bars comes up and I'm asked if I've ever went to one and I'm like "hell naw"...

Then 2 straight men (one white and one black) try to explain to me that they've hung out at Gay bars a couple of times just for the drinks and make it seem like it's really just a bar basically...

I'm all for being open minded but there is no reason for a straight man to be in a gay bar...

i never been to gay bar but i hear a lot about them. there is supposedly mad bytches that go to them and the atmosphere is suppose to be really chill.

im not homophobic but im scared to drink at a gay bar i dont wanna be friendly with someone then that nikka try to kiss me or some shyt. i dont have a problem with fakkits but when you in that type of enviornment u have to have your guard up cuz u dont kno what the next nikka is thinking

I did it end up in a lesbian club one time and that was pretty awkward even... I was pretty drunk so it took me awhile to figure it all out.

Never been to one but I hear often
1. More chill atmosphere since nikkas aint in there peacocking for women
2. If you are a regular, the women that are regulars are usually more approachable, though they typically avoid men in gay bars because of the "downlow" stigma
3. Its just a bar, breh. Being in the company of gay people (even a fukkton) doesn't make you gay, nor anyone else that hangs there. The moment you lie down with another man does.

While reading title, I read too fast and I thought this was gonna be a spin about buddy who went out to a gay bar for his business meeting. I think it was @Blackking. Guess I was mistaken. I've been to a gay spot once or twice. A friend of mine has a gay friend so she invited me to come since I usually hang with her and the family anyways. Her gay friend took us to some spot in downtown fort Lauderdale and another in downtown Miami. Don't even remember the names.
