But still it's a weird move considering 3-6 Mafia won one and they are way more gangsta than these actors from straight outta Compton. I mean Ice Cube son and some of the voter's kids probably went to the same private academy.

Cinematography was on point. I could see a nomination for that. Lots of dope visuals throughout. Especially the scene with Ice Cube driving through the city.
but nah none of the performances were necessarily Oscar worthy...but i dont watch many movies that are worthy of these awards so it dont matter to me
