The first half had me hyped. I'm a big East coast rap fan, never got into West coast in any era. And during the mid-90's, I refused to check it out b/c NY was basically losing the battle.

This movie was inspiring, powerful, and informative. But there was too much to tell in a small amount of time, i lost focus, i thought the film lost focus.

But I can watch this film more than once, so i enjoyed it, glad I was finally able to see it.
