Yeah was never a fan of the group or individuals (except ren) but I hope the movie does well and sparks a trend. Not in a rush to see it for the fact they messed around with the story. Hearing that cube and dre were portrayed as saints rubs me the wrong way

wow, $24.3 million on Friday, they now projecting a $59 million weekend. they bout to greenlight about 10 rap biopics just based off this. Pac, Public Enemy, Wu Tang, prolly got one coming called Jay Vs Nas: The Battle for NY Supremacy, this shyt is crazy.

fact that this movie had a black director as well…. gotta let black directors tell out stories breh. i remeber jim sheridan, who is a genuine great director, but that dude didnt know how to handle Get Rich Or Die Tryin, even though he made classic films in other genres. 8 mile also had a great director but that film was still a lil underwhelming, its like these A List directors come int that world tryna do gritty and i dont know, something missing.
