I never bought into the narrative of Chip as some QB whisperer. He needs a certain style of QB to run his system effectively, and Blaine has proven to not be it. I assumed he would at least build off his year last season and progress into a serviceable player, but his cowardice is way more pronounced this year. The QB needs to threaten the defense and command their respect with his legs in order to make Chip's system go. Sam Bradford struggled last year for the same reason, but at least he was willing to throw the fukking ball. I'm convinced the offense would look much better with a suitable QB.
