What we know about space is fluid and evolving.

My referencing Pluto was merely just an example that we don't know how to classify everything in space. There are things that we don't understand and are constantly learning about. To be clear, I wasn't soliciting your internet researching skills to educate me on Pluto and what the science community thinks about it. If anything, whatever you quoted proves that even people who have dedicated their professional careers to science have disagreements on what to call things in space.

Maybe I singled out no. 44 for no particularly good reason other than the fact that I like it when people think/act against the grain. The people who blindly believe everything while questioning nothing, e.g everyone who believes the story about 9/11 that has been peddled by the Bush/Obama administration, are helpless sheep.

Because of the possibility of there being flaws and made-up rhetoric, I keen an open mind, but depending on it's origin, I accept most of the information as true.

As far as space is concerned, obviously, the "scientist" & "engineers" must have solid facts and calculations, if their able send satellites,probes, shuttles, rovers, and people into space.

We've seen what happens when miscalculation occur.

Does human error, yes. But more often than, not I accept it as fact. Is there a possibility that there are lies, in the theory or observation, sure. But at least it gives you something to build on. Simply not investigating, or having the intuition to ponder about this facts, is counterproductive.

With that said, if 97% of scientist believe, climate change is real, and the only opposition are skeptics who are funded by large corporations, who's industry would be servilely threaten or crippled by regulation. You wouldn't call a spade a spade

it depends what he's talking about tho. we're talking about mars. we know it's yearly cycles, it's terrain, it's emissions, it's size, it's weather etc. There is no fukking arguing that.

we know just about everything within our solar system. If he's talking about the theories of deep space, that's fine, but wtf does that have to with this thread?

also, theorizing is the engine of discovery and exploration. having a discussion is what brews theory. even if you're not tied to NASA, the fact that you are flexing that part of your brain is extremely healthy for it.
