The Weiskamp pick seems solid :ehh:
His jumper is top tier. I'm not sure he's a player who can start. Defensively he's going to get beat at the NBA level...pretty badly, I think.

I went into this draft fully expecting the Spurs to get some front court help and they took 2 guards. Granted, there's A LOT of upside with Primo and Wieskamp. But I think the current Spurs guards just got put on notice.

I thought Dejounte and White were in the clear. Lonnie might be on notice

Dude, I have this nightmare that one or two Spurs guards are going to ball out on another team once they can play in a more fast-paced, spaced out system.

And then the whole country is gonna be like "How did the Spurs let this guy get away?"

:damn::snoop:

Lonnie getting put on notice. He's supposed to be having extension talks but he was still quite inconsistent last season

Derrick is injury prone

Tre jones still got a ways to go, still no confidence in that jumper

No one's spot in the guard position is guaranteed besides Dejounte.

Wouldn't be shocked if my fellow Mississauga kid Primo suddenly grows to 6'10 :russ:

Yall won the draft thats all that needs to be said

You think so? :jbhmm: my initial reaction was very sour because primo wasn't on any lottery draft mocks and didn't even here of the kid until last night lol

But now that I know he's a fellow sauga kid I'm a big fan :pachaha:

Apparently if he stayed another year he projected to be a lottery pick in 2022. It may have been a reach by the Spurs but it seems the potential is real.

This is a decent pick if we're going for a full rebuild... which we have no other choice but to do so that's what it looks like.

That’s all well and good, but we got him in they 2021 lottery so that seems unnecessary.
