What are we even talking about here? If you are an adult worried about what some 20 year old “personality” has to say than good for you I guess. The 14 year olds on the football team I volunteer coaching have a lot in common with you.
I’ll continue to seek out new music of which there is more than ever.

Was anything ever confirmed one way or another if Drake x Yachty don't fukk with each other anymore (and if not, what happened)? He answered that question directly and in a positive tone. If he disliked Drake I feel like he might have said something different :patrice:

AI music is a party trick that has no legs. If AI music was gonna take over it would've happened by now
It's just the beginning (Spotify has started putting it in those playlist) and these new kids will be raised on it

It's over :francis:

One thing you and many people miss with arguments like these is the fact that art is a relationship between artist and consumer. Rarely are artists successful only because of the music

You don't get a Pac with AI. Nor do you get a Taylor Swift, or a Jay Z. Whoever. It's not just about the music being good, it's about the entire package of a person presenting themselves to the world

Mind you we're in a thread talking about young hip hop streamers who often stream with rappers. That interest is there because of an interest as these entities as people

I looked at someone's twitch account and they had 5k subs

Subscribers pay monthly at 3.99

Plus they get donations

Just to watch someone play video games :why:
They make more from ads than all that shyt. Then they upload the stream to youtube and double up on that money. Then twitter, tiktok etc. Then they get endorsements and sponsored streams. Streamers with decent followings are eating.

Nah. Ain't nobody asking a streamer to do the Superbowl.

And yes I know the numbers these streamers are putting up. The difference is those people are sitting at home. 50,000 watching Kai on a Friday night is not the same as selling out an arena.

I will say this is most likely true for young people. But not in general.

EDIT: Every other comment on IG is calling Ak a pedophile. :mjlol:

It's true financially. The big streamers are making a million a month from streaming plus sponsorships and exclusive deals worth 8-9 figures.

People are already having those parasocial relationships with AI generated characters

In 10 years, we might see the first virtual star.

You are not ready

Hatsune Miku has existed for like 20 years. Is she popular? Very. But she's not replacing human artists anytime soon. Not even close

Agreed, but Kai and the biggest of them will be in a Superbowl Ad or two. Kai with Snoop in the T-mobile commercials that are curently playing during NFL/NBA games probably got him a nice bag:ehh:

And that’s the problem nowadays. It’s not about music. That’s why you rarely see some drop,
back in the day, they used artists to sell music. Now they use "music" to sell us the artists. The "fans" are more concerned with 1st weeks sales, #1 hits, how someone dresses, their finances, and what they are driving than the actual music.
