The update is free, and looking at the video these are some pretty drastic changes. Apparently Zangief can now combo into his command throws for one.
It's just a new to mess around with, a joke mode that no one is going go use

I dont think its fair to call it milking when the update is free. If they were charging for it you would have a point.
Anyway its something cool for the many fans who are still having fun with the series, cant see any downside here.

I didn't even by ultra yet and I had every other IV version. So you are telling me that they haven't updated the character select screen since Super?!

In the end Ultra is arguably the most balanced fighting game of all time. With 44 characters that is extremely hard to do so you gotta give them props for that. Gameplay is what matters the most. When you watch tourneys its not the same 3 characters over and over, theres a lot of variety and thats great. fukk the character select screen who cares? Third strike only had Chun and Ken players. This game opens it up for a lot of different characters to take tournies. Homie won that west coast tourney with Rolento, Evo was won by Rose, every week on NLBC Smug takes it with Dudley, in WNF you see Snake Eyez beast with Zangief. That is the shyt that makes all the updates worth it.
Im hype for this mode. Like someone else said, it definitely looks like it makes the game more high paced with crazier combos. Should be fun to mess around with.
