Actually, I'm sure they'll make disc versions of hte updated versions of the games over the years, just for the folks that can't or don't ever do anything online. It wouldn't really cost them much to do it and they'd simply replace the initial versions of the disc years later.

How is it a "fukk you" tho when you're actually able to get way more out of your 1-time entry point fee than ever before. Would you rather have a Super, Ultra, Turbo edition come out ever 18 months, that costs 40 bucks and up to buy or just have all that shyt trickled in over the years, for FREE? What, do you have the most barebones internet service there is or something? It's past midnight on the westcoast right now and you're on the damn internet right now. I'm sure it's not going to hurt you to log on and receive all this shyt for free 6 months from now. Are you one of those "Look on the Darkside of things" ass cats that just has to find displeasure in something, no matter how good it is?!:dwillhuh:
If they do release updated disc versions then that would fix most of my problems with the game, but I don't think they'll do that. They said from the start that they won't do that this time. I know Capcom's lied about that before, but they didn't have this online updates plan before.

More content than ever before? There's less content here than ever before. It's not free, cause you have to pay for online. That shyt isn't free. I would much rather have the updated versions every 18 months. Especially since I know better than to buy every one of them.

It isn't. Literally all I do in fighting games is fight the CPU. Why should that be dead? Cause you don't enjoy it? I don't see how you can argue the game would be better without VS CPU mode.

Doesn't say anything in there about VS CPU. And once again as I stated, patching it in won't do shyt for me.

A few additional modes will be available soon after launch though, like a CPU battle option, and Survival modes which we've gathered details and images for.

There will also be Trials and Battle Tips which will drop in the March 2016 update.

Extra Battle (1st and 2nd image): Fight against special CPU bosses in the ultimate challenge.
Earn in-game rewards upon completion. Available soon after launch.

• Trials (3rd image): Put your skills to the ultimate test with combo trials for all 16 characters, ranging from basic to pro combos. Available March 2016.

• Targets: Complete daily renewing goals to earn fight money, in-game titles, and other cool content. Available soon after launch.

• Battle Tips: Learn the ins and outs of Street Fighter 5 through helpful demonstration and tutorial content. Contains content for each of the 16 characters, as well as advice geared towards all levels of players. Available March 2016.

How does this sound like VS CPU to you? Have you ever played VS CPU?

It's also not past midnight on the westcoast right now. No clue where you got that from.

Street Fighter 5's lobbies will support two players initially, eight players in March, spectator mode will be added then - info on other game modes

The shyt has been stated many of times that it's being patched in next month and full fledge cinematic story in June, all for FREE. Ya'll brand new nikkas can just wait till then to get the game.

And since ya'll asking "Why", cuz it's smart business. The game is at its heart, a competitive game, so they're shooting for that aspect, FIRST and FOREMOST. Sure, they could've delayed the game to having all of the other shyt in at launch, however then the game wouldn't be out in time for Evo, Capcom Pro Tour and a host of other fighting game tournaments out there. Capcom's pushing for this game to be the forefront of fighting games eSports, and it can't do that if it releases too late. Don't know how many more times the words FREE can be stated about the rest of all the gamplay changing DLC and other non-competitive parts of the game will be added on shortly after release. If you ain't that gung ho to at least want to play other people in the game, then it surely won't matter much to you to wait for the other content.
Brand new nikkas? Son fukk outta here. I been playin Street Fighter since the early 90s. All I'm sayin is they shouldn't have removed arcade mode. Seeing how there's never been a Street Fighter game without it since SF1.

It's not removed tho, it's just not available at launch. If it means that much to you, buy it next month.

Nah man fukk all that because if it was in the game already, people would either:

A. Play arcade/survival/cpu fight one or twice, then move onto to online for the rest of the game's life

or

B. Play arcade/survival/cpu fight one or twice and never pick up the game again

It's 2016...fighting the CPU for extended periods of time is dead. Or at least it ought to be.
Son u projecting. At the end of the day. Majority of the people who buy this shyt is gonna be casuals. And regardless of how u feel about casuals. If it wasn't for them. They game wouldn't get made cause they count for the majority as far as people who purchase this shyt. Me personally. I like playing offline and online. There might be times I might not feel like playin somebody online so its dope to have the option to play the CPU. Like it's always been. It's cool if they adding it later on tho. I'm still gonna cop. But they need to take a page out of Mortal Kombat's book at this point when it comes to in game content.

If it's coming it's coming. Cool. I already preordered the game so its whatever. I never said it wasn't coming. I said IF it wasn't coming that's fukked up.
I don't see any reason to believe either Arcade Mode or VS CPU are coming anytime soon. Either way not having them on release so the people who need those modes the most (offline players) can play them is fukked up.

Isn't story mode basically arcade mode with fewer bouts?
All he's complaining about is just having an endless vs cpu mode...which is simple and a valid point and is in every single fighting game damn near in existence but you got a couple hard head ass niccas in this thread who can't comprehend that basic point. Challenge mode and trial mode that khalil keeps talking about and putting his :cape: on for ISN'T vs mode and doesn't function in the same way...who said we wanted to go through the longness of the cutscenes in story mode or have to do some arbitrary tasks in challenge mode just to get multiple games against the cpu? Also those modes will have caps on how mqny games you get and you can't change character until you lose typically. And how can niccas tell us we're bugging for complaining about this when arcade/vs mode has been in EVERY SINGLE street fighter game bar street fighter 1???

Niccas actually arguing against having more modes in the game :mindblown: and its not even like its a complex mode either

It's still some bullshyt that it has to be patched in. A feature like that should be on the disc already.

I mean it sucks that it isn't in there but shyt IDGAF I'm going to be spending alot of time doing online matches. On top of that I got it on PC so the mods that come with it are going to be great and I don't have to pay for online so :yeshrug:
