I get their trepidation, BUT I never ever play arcade mode if there is a story mode...like literally never. Then I usually hit the lab, then I go online or I invite people over to play. Either way, I prefer to play another human.

Right. And how is Survival mode not computer practice enough for anyone? I said this shyt earlier, that's literally the endless computer mode. I just can't with you new nikkas.

Seems like most games are gonna start being online only nowadays. That shyt started with Destiny.

I definitely get why people want an arcade mode. It's a staple of the series and most people play it before hopping online.

Hopefully it will get patched in later on.

For me though, I plan on getting used to the fightpad, go in the lab and probably play a couple of online matches tonight.

So...you need structure in your fighting game set up and in your real world life. Gotcha.

Arcade mode = the story mode.

They are adding a full cinematic story mode expansion in June. March = 8 player lobbies, DLC character Alex, shop, and combo trials. Here is the schedule so brehs are in the loop.

You do survival mode to unlock your charcter's colors, and you do story mode to unlock their alternate costume in the shop. You can use your accumulated fight money to purchase the DLC characters and costumes, or if you don't feel like grinding fight money, you can buy them with real money.

Right. I mean don't get me wrong. Capcom knows what they doing by not having it at launch. But lets not act like Arcade mode was some end all be all mode that HAS to happen. No one gives a fukk about arcade mode. This isn't a rpg. This isn't a platformer. This is a fighter. Practice mode vs mode and online is where you will be at 98% of the time playing.

Plus it's already confirmed that it's coming. Im all for releasing the game now instead of holding it back for a mode 5% of the fans actually care about.

If anything, this move, delaying the arcade mode in it's regular form may actually push some of this fukkbois that wouldn't do so normally to get out in the wild and get online. At the end of the day, it's just a game. You should relish the chance for real competition, not obsessively fear it.

Where did you get this notion that people who want an arcade mode option are scared to play online? All it is, is essentially a way to practice in an environment that more resembles an actual match than practice mode.

If nikkas want arcade mode, go into vs, fight the computer multiple times and then look at a screenshot of a characters artwork online.
