Probably because most people expect to be able to pick their character right before the match starts like every other fighting game on the planet. By default the game forces you to pick your character before going into the lounge unless someone changes the default to allow for character select. Ryu is the default character.

I get what your saying but I don't think that excuse should fly anymore. If so, they would be using Ryu's first color. I've ran across multiple Ryu's with different color alts.

People just like Ryu. Nothing wrong with that. Just want some more variety lol.

Bout to hop in some ranked matches now. We'll see who I'll see a lot of there

How does a match not disconnect, but loses connection to send the data to the server?

Got a good steak going last night. The lag was sometimes ridiculous though. I specifically put the criteria for people that have 5 star connection rating. And took me about fine minutes to get into a match. Really hope they fix this shyt before the weekend. I get that same feeling I get playing sf4 though...glad to be bike in the skreets again

I've been doing 3-5 and have had little to no lag surprisingly. Though I have got some random log outs from the server

I'm getting the timing down for this game pretty quickly. I'm killing it with my girl cammy. I just fought a dude who had an absurd amount of points compared in a mirror match with my cammy and whipped his ass something fierce. Its almost unfair how much variety she has to her mixups and how fast she can move. Only character that has given me real trouble is a good bison.

Lol straight up, the story mode here was unnecessary and not good. If anything, they should have kept the story out of the game entirely and just kept arcade mode. Then tell the story in some comic book form like with Udon or something.

I'm wrecking shyt with Cammy. Only time I lose is when it's against a character I rarely face and not used to fighting. Only lost to a Nash, Mika and Ryu () so far.
