It exist man, it's basically a slick way of saying "pay attention to me" and when women like what they see it works. The better the opening the better chance she might like what she sees. On the flip no better lines exist than asking her a question to get her talking cause u want to start a conversation.

Also keep notice on how women view certain areas like a busy street, if she expects dudes to run up on her she's gonna be turned off by guys she talks to on the street, the CLUB situation is almost the same thing.
