OP didn't say that, but to call them poor would not be a stretch.

Now this mall is in Calumet City, Illinois. lets look at some data

Calumet City, Illinois

You have a city that is 52% black and the median income for a family is $38k-$45K. It's safe to say this is not a high economic area. You guys are about to have Donald Trump as president and the only thing on their mind is shoes.

that's misleading information u have to see how mch they living exspenses are u also have to know if all them people live there they could be out of town also all them people in the picture probably not African American :sas2:

Why is this c00ning/cac shyt may I ask?
Because there's an automatic assumption that because they're black, they're poor.
Furthermore there's an assumption that they only seek to buy these shoes to offset
the fact they're poor and impress others.

It couldn't possibly be, because of this :
Or....maybe they're just in line because they really like the sneakers?

Another poster pointed mocked the idea behind assuming someone is poor by showing the contrast with
picture in this post :
oh but what about these "poor" "filthy animals" :mjpls:

All for a iphone they know they cant afford, so they can show off to other poor people buying gadgets for social status :mjpls:
Spending hundreds of dollars on a high end phone (when you're not black...) doesn't bring
on the assumption you're living paycheck to paycheck and spending yourself broke to impress
other people.

There's an underlying belief that if you're black and you buy jordans (or anything relatively expensive), it's because you're an uncouth fool
who doesn't know there are finer things in life. This thread is another example of where posters who are supposed to be "For the cause" or
at least present themselves as such begin to speak on Black People, not as People but some monolithic mass of failures.

Look at the thread title then look at the collapse of reasoning from posters regular referred
to as "pro-black" like @Matt504 and then you see why it's boiled down to a simple insult like
"c00n" or "cac".

swipers never using the money to do anything constructive or to better their situation, which is the only thing they should be doing considering the fact that they're gambling with their lives.

:francis:

I think its a problem with alot of people who get into crime for money, they don't really look at their exit plan.

Alot of Africans I know who are heavy in the fraud game are building houses back in their countries etc. It tends to be younger people who have no gameplan with all their new money.

I don't think Black people who buy Jordan's they can't afford are uncouth fools, I just believe they are financially irresponsible.

Breh, the issue posters have brought up in this thread is that you have no clue what these people can
or cannot afford and you've made the assumption they're "poor" or "financially irresponsible" on
some remarkably flimsy evidence.

That's exactly how I know they're poor. They're in line to buy shoes to increase their worth in the eyes of onlookers, poor people behavior.
Ive done that breh and my brother used to line up more than me. Im also in construction making over 60,000. Now im in school with bread stacked up so i dont have to work. So just because nikkas line up for kicks doesn't mean we are broke. And thats just my story, so you must be talking about YOUR PEOPLE :usure:

Besides being a collector or a high school trendy teen I never understood the fascination with Jordans

Somebody need to do a shoe test

Switch the Jordan logo with some other 30 dollar shoes and tell people "these are exclusive Jordans". but put some real Jordans right next to them with the Cheaper shoe logo. Let's see how many people buy the Jordan shoe logo for 300 and walk right by the real Jordans.

What does it matter about there living expense? The household income is less than 45K. That says enough. Also if the town is over 50% black it's fair to say that they are locals.

What facts do you have to disprove this? Or will you keep playing stupid?
