I forgot which one of yall said it... but KCR was playing everybody new joints, like weeks/months before it even came out.... and Stretch would always, ALWAYS play the album version instead of radio version...
I paid for it every friday morning, but it was well worth it..

remember i moved down to the A in 96, I was upset to leave all that behind,,, but 88.5 and 89.3 and G Tech 91.1 keep it funky as well, but not on WKCR level.. but decent and still fly

Uppin this. Was gonna make a thread celebratin the last show, but fukk it. Truly the end of an era for me with the last episode of Squeeze being last week and now Halftime coming to an end. These two shows held me down like no other from about 2001 until now. Countless wed and thurs nights staying up until the wee hours listening to exclusive sh*t that I wouldnt be able to hear anywhere else.
