just don't lie. putting a positive spin or selling yourself is not lying or even stretching. if your time is worth something, you should be intelligent enough to explain why.

fukk that noise... Thats some "may the odds be ever in your favor" type shyt ... The game is already rigged as fukk, do whatever you gotta do to get in, then let your work speak for itself.

yeah, uh, maybe...but lying on your resume can get you blackballed from an entire profession. if the game is rigged then what reason do you have to lie? I'm not saying you should list stuff that will make you look bad but if you are going to spend time/money/energy into pursuing a certain career path only to lie on a resume, you're taking a huge gamble. if you really don't know how to prepare a resume, then hire someone to help you.

I'm not saying you should spell red b l u e. Just saying that where you can get away with it, if it's more likely to land you the job then by all means go for it.

Im too afraid to stretch truth on my resume, although ive known people that have lied throughout their whole resume and got some good paying jobs doing so.

I stretched like a mf on my resume. I put a job I only apprenticed at for 6 months as a 2 year job.

Company moved outta state . Been job hunting since April I’ve never been pressed about it and it’s led to several interview in the last several weeks. Waiting to hear back from them soon

Don’t put something unrealistic on your resume, like you were cum laude at a tough school or Project Manager at a well known company and you just got out of college:mjlol:

Unless you’re trying to get in with a huge company or the feds nobody is going to press you on your employment history.
