why is this album so slept on? People don't talk about this album nearly as much as his other albums, only the hit singles (I get around & Keep ya head up)

On the real, I actually believe this is Pac's best album. It's the most well-rounded. He talks about politics, police brutality, his feelings of abandonment from his father, to uplifting women, etc. The only other album that comes close to it is Me Against the World.

Now I do admit that the production isn't that great, which is why it's not mentioned more often. But I think the album deserves a lot more recognition just for Holla If Ya Hear Me on it's own.

i love the grimey low end sound, makes his lyrics bang harder

I don't think its his best but I see what you're saying
With 'Pac i found it hard to be like "this album is betta than this other one"...It always felt like by the end you kinda wondered where he was goin next

Good thread. I always overlooked this album, only buying Pac music Thug Life and after. How did I miss out on "Streets R Deathrow?" Content wise, this album overshadows All Eyez On Me.
