I swear Detroit on they modern day Motown shyt. Too much heat to keep up with. Sada, Skilla, Vezzo, Ray, Veeze, Peezy, Lonnie Bands, Fmb Dz, and I know I’ve missed several names of nikkaz I rock wit. If this keeps up for a few more years Detroit might become a new Rap epicenter.

Nah, it’s pretty easy to tell the difference. Detroit sound does lean heavily on the Bay Area Mob Music side but it also has elements of NO Bounce and Trap/Drill. You can tell some Detroit producers were listening to Cash Money, No Limit, Three Six, etc.

Plus Detroit accent is classic Midwestern. I’ve heard Ohio nikkaz with a similar Cali-ish accent.
