And if you notice, they tearing down all the old enclosed shopping malls from the suburbs to the cities that cater to the middle class. Why? You can always find better deals and better finds for everything online. The mall is overpriced. And nothing is more overpriced than the shyt they have at your regular ass middle class shopping mall. Nobody wanna pay $150 for a regular ass Polo Ralph Lauren shirt, this ain’t 2004 no more.

I noticed regular middle class malls with a predominantly black clientele been closing and been converted to strip malls.
The only old school enclosed shopping malls that are still thriving are those that cater to the rich and the bougie wannabe rich.

Upscale shopping malls with Gucci, Louis and Versace stores don’t have any vacant store front stores like the middle class malls have. Middle class malls are full of abandoned empty storefronts and losing anchor stores left and right. And it’s the middle class anchor stores like Sears, JCPenny and Macy’s that die off the most.
Upscale shopping malls sell all the shyt rappers wear (i.e. Gucci, Off White, Balenciaga, Palm Angels), and now that the urban drip has gentrified, rich white kids don’t blink twice when they drop $1500 on a pair of Jordan 1’s that retailed for $160 at a hypebeast white owned sneaker consignment shop that didn’t even exist four years ago in a rich white mall or dropping 25 hundred on a jacket they can buy online for a thousand.

Malls now charge more for merch because there is a built in convenience fee for being able to walk in, buy something and have it in your hands the same day instead of getting a better deal ordering it online and waiting a week to get it.
Strip malls are thriving in middle class areas because middle class people are forced to be frugal and the only thing they spending money on in person is eating out at a restaurant, going to a Dave ‘N Busters arcade style place, going out to the movies, going grocery shopping, going to the liquor store, going to some cheap ass bar etc. All strip mall activity for the peasant middle class that has to budget every little thing.
