I'm talking about what the court should enforce provided the parents can't come to an agreement. I think there should be a max. $3k may be low, say $5k ($60k/year). If the mother feels she needs more she best be able to prove it (and I'm talking about maintaining a lifestyle the child is used to, not establishing one cuz daddy's rich).

If you making 20 million every year, it should be nothing to peel off $20,000 a month for your kid. That's what $240,000 a year. After paying uncle sam, agents/lawyers and child support, you'd have 7 or 8 million each year. Your kid should be spoiled like he would be spoiled if his parents were married. If that means your babymama will be buying red bottoms and driving a nice whip and living in a nice house, tough sh*t nikka. There isn't an unborn kid in America that NEEDS $240k/year..which, again is after taxes, so that's the equivalence of that child having a job that earns $400k-$500k a year

Nah, the child's needs should be the most important factor. Establish a minimum and a maximum. Use the parent's income to determine what they pay between that amount. If you crazy rich you pay the max, if you jobless, you better find a job, cuz it's your responsibility to ensure that kid isn't a drain to society cuz it needs to eat

The thing is bruh, no judge in America is going to be okay with you living in a 12 bedroom mansion while your daughter is living in a townhouse, dog. No judge is gonna let that fly. Another thing, the mother will benefit from child support regardless, my nikka. Even if you an average cat paying $1000 to your BM, that's $1000 she don't gotta put to the rent, $1000 she don't gotta pay for food/groceries, $1000 she dont gotta pay for daycare.
