The Pokemon games were ruthless to the struggle. There was no convincing my parents that I needed red when I already had blue, so getting 151 pokemon meant a lot of wheeling and dealing on the trade circuit...and since my parents refused to buy a link cable, my trade options were even more limited. But I made it happen...that ish taught me to hustle hard.
